Guanaëlle Cantineaux (she/her) is a graphic designer based in Ghent, Belgium. Her focus is on playing with emptiness as a given and researching the readability in her work.

Figures, shapes, cut-outs and the spontaneity associated with them is fundamental in her process.

Currently she is a master student at KASK & Conservatorium in Ghent, doing her internship at publishing house het balanseer. Her master research explores memory as a given and the in-between space that plays into the process of omitting, adding, forgetting and remembering. This combined with written work on emptiness, space and memory.

Her work is currently for sale at Zomersalon 2023 Buy Local at the Kunsthal in Ghent from July to September.
